Before a single sketch, we study the world our fixtures will live in. We look for gaps in our own line, listen to the architects and designers who specify our work, and travel to see what's moving in materials, craft, and the way people live.

This is the soul of what we do. Before anything is drawn to scale, our designers explore freely: shape, material, and the feeling a piece should bring to a room.

From Sketch to Screen
It starts with graphite on paper. Loose strokes find the weight and shape of the piece. As proportions settle, the drawing moves into three dimensions, designers study reflection, mass and the way shadow falls across metal. How a fixture shapes the light around it matters as much as how it looks.

Our executive and product design teams review early drawings together. Every curve, material, and reflection is considered for how it will sit in a finished room.
Engineering Checks
Heat, stress and electrical pathways are reviewed from the first draft. Structure is built into the design, so beauty never has to give way to it.
Supplier Alignment
Select suppliers receive preliminary files, and the conversation begins: how to make custom glass and extruded metal well, every time.

Bringing the Real Thing to Light
Our models become precise supplier drawings, then the first physical sample. Redlines follow. Joint tolerances, socket configurations, and weight distribution are adjusted round after round until the piece earns final approval.

Growing the Family
A room reads best when its light speaks one language. Once a lead design is set, we carry its shapes, materials and finishes across a full family of chandeliers, pendants, sconces and flush mounts, so every fixture in the space belongs together.

The Polish
The complete family comes together in our workshop for one last review. Finishes are compared side by side, light temperatures are matched, and every piece is checked against the standard it was designed to meet.
